I’ve worked with Cosplay Clans for years now so I can attest to their consistent quality and accuracy to their costumes so I was really excited to receive their Raphtalia cosplay costume, and wigs based on her appearance in The Rising of the Shield Hero second season! There are a lot of really nice details that ring true from the photos, including the glitter detailing and the lace along the collar! I personally got myself an XL size due to my chest measurement being the biggest and altering the costume to better fit my figure afterward!
The Raphtalia cosplay dress itself fit actually really nicely, the little stitching detail on the front was nicely done and the line between the white blouse part and the rest of the dress actually aligned with my chest perfectly! The only thing I ended up changing to better suit my body type is moving the belt loops from the hips to the waist and taking in the waist slightly. The fabric felt like nice cosplay fabric and the gold details along the collar, sleeves, and buttons didn’t end up shedding any of the glitters which made me really happy! I’m also in love with the lace along her bow but that’s because I love small details like that. t does zip in the back but I was flexible enough to do it myself no problem.
Because I decided to move the belt from the hips to the waist, I also took in the belt as well. The gloves were super comfortable and I could still use my phone through them as long as I pressed slightly harder on the screen so I was glad I didn’t have to make any finger holes! The cuffs for the wrists fit perfectly fine but the ones around the arms were a little tight, as well as the armor due to my chest size! So it’s best to measure to a T for this costume since it has no actual leeway in terms of measurements. Also, small little tip, the shoulder armor does actually come off since it’s velcro so that was neat!
It came with everything shown above, which means no Raphtalia cosplay wig, ears, or tail but I got the Raphtalia wig from Cosplay Clans as well and really liked the thickness of the fibers along with the color. It matched the ears and tail I got perfectly! It also didn’t come with any boot covers so I used my own brown boots as a heads up!
TLDR: If you fit the measurements, this is an excellent cosplay to get! It made me fall in love with how I look in Raphtalia and as per usual, super satisfied overall with how the The Rising Of The Shield Hero Raphtalia cosplay came in.
